Mardani Jhumar

Mardani Jhumar is the dance of the men. As its name is clear, it is male-oriented dance.

Men go by the hands of each other, in long queues, bouncing together, stirring, fluttering, wandering feet on the ground, making trees vibrating in trees, shoulders and arms.

Mardani jhumar dancers take the straight hands straight up, never fall, never leave the hand, dance behind in front of each other or in a charming attractive posture in the queue.

Women do not participate in the mercury chandelier. It is hard, heavy and tiring dance for women. Thus, for women it is a completely and taboo dance.
