Maluti Temple Group

Maluti village is situated on the border of Jharkhand and West Bengal under Shikaripada block of Dumka district. Maluti village can be reached by road going through Dumka, via Sudichua, from Maluti village, from Sudichua, about 5 km o is located in the south. Here the village is very important with the archaeological viewpoint, because here too a lot of ancient clay pieces have been found along with the predecessor carpet stone. There are 71 temples in Maluti village, in which most of the temples are 18th-19th. These temples have been built by the kings of Nankar Dynasty. The terracotta plaques in the front of the temples are quite artistic. Many of these stories related to the Mahabharata, Ramayana and the contemporary life in these plaques have been done with great proficiency.
