Pandra

Village Pandra of Nirsa block under Dhanbad district is famous for the ancient temples. There are five temples here, they have been constructed with the help of stone squares. The architecture of Bengal is clearly visible on these temples. In time, these temples have been chosen from cement to plaster tax. From the point of view of architecture, this temple appears to be built in the 12th and 13th centuries. At Govindpur, Dhanbad can be reached by G T road near Nirsa block. Through that road, the Pandra can be reached from a narrow road at about 8 km distance.
